AB-5 One Year Later: An Update to California's New Independent Contractor Law + Happy Half Hour

In 2020, California enacted sweeping legislation regarding independent contractor classification. While the past year temporarily changed the landscape for events, the law remains intact. Join MPI San Diego and Jonathan Bell with Bell Legal Consulting as he discusses the recent modifications to AB-5 and what you can do to ensure compliance for yourself and your company.
What you will learn from this education program:
- Relevant updates to AB-5 and the subsequent catch-up legislation, AB-2257, and how this legislature benefits meeting planners and suppliers.
- Compliance considerations and the challenges facing companies and individuals under the law.
