New Member Spotlight - Trevor Mulholland

By: MPISTL | Jun 1, 2018

Trevor MulhollandPlease welcome Trevor Mulholland to the MPI St. Louis Chapter. Trevor is moving to St. Louis from Jefferson City in early July and is currently searching for new opportunities in the St. Louis area. Trevor has been in this industry for four years as an Event Services Manager and has managed annual association conferences/conventions. He spent the last few years working with Career and Technical Student Organizations like DECA, FBLA, etc. and planning semi-annual conferences for groups like the School Nurse Organization of Washington and the Alabama CTE Council.

When asked what he likes about the industry, he said, "The ability to work with clients and colleagues across the country to plan and execute events, and the vast network of connections that these opportunities have provided."

Trevor just acquired his CMP and is looking for an opportunity to showcase his talents with a new employer.

He attended a few conferences his freshman year of college and began finding opportunities to make himself valuable while there. Throughout college, Trevor got more involved with planning the events for groups like the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). He started event planning as a contractor toward the end of college and has been planning events ever since.

Once Trevor lands in St. Louis, he plans on joining the Special Events Committee and learning about other opportunities within the Chapter.

When asked about the last YouTube video he watched, Trevor shared Calum Scott - Golden Buzzer. This is worth watching - what talent!

Trevor grew up in Wildwood, attended Lafayette High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He spent the last four years in Jefferson City. Trevor spends his down time traveling and exploring new restaurants and cuisines. He is tying the knot with his partner, Chris, in September.
