New Member Spotlight - Todd Lazarus

Please welcome Todd Lazarus to MPI St. Louis. Todd is the National Sales Manager for Paramount Convention Services. Paramount is a full-service trade show decorator and general contractor. They produce all types of events such as expositions, conventions, Presidential Debates and corporate events coast to coast. Todd joined the St. Louis MPI Chapter in late 2019! 

Todd was born and raised in University City. He has been with Paramount since October 2019. Prior to Paramount, Todd has been in the industry for 8 years working on the transportation side of the business. When asked what he likes best about his job, Todd said, “Every day is truly unique and different. I like creating a positive experience and helping create a vision for my clients and then executing that vision into the best convention/tradeshow/meeting possible. Also, I enjoy getting to talk to and meeting new people from all walks of life every day. Being able to travel is also fun!”

Todd has been married to his wife, Julie, for 11 years and they have two kids: Lucas (age 8) and Zoe (age 6). Outside of work, Todd says he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, coaching and watching his kids in sports and playing in his weekly floor hockey game. He also says a nice bourbon doesn’t hurt! 

Todd recently joined the Membership Committee, and he is really excited to get to know everyone involved and make his mark on a great organization. The biggest benefit that he has found from his membership so far is the people and networking. He says that everyone has been so nice, helpful and willing to try and do whatever it takes to help him out. 

The words of wisdom that Todd would like to offer is this: “Always try to get better. Don’t get too comfortable because someone else is always looking to take your spot. Have some fun for goodness sake!”
