Pam Shepherd, CITP, CIS, CTA, CHSC Director - Strategic Partnerships  MPI Georgia Chapter

My role with MPI started over two decades ago and I have never looked back or never stopped volunteering. MPI is the cornerstone of our industries knowledge center, communications and professional relationships. Our industry has changed dramatically over the past few years, however through MPI Georgia you will be able to weather this storm.

I have been on the MPI Michigan Board of Directors and the MPI Georgia Board of Directors (1999 - 2001 and 2021- 2022) and a volunteer all years in between. As the current Director of Strategic Partnerships my role allows me to help our chapter grow financially and help our sponsors and members enhance their exposure to reach their business goals. It allows me to be the catalyst for a win-win relationship between our great MPI Georgia Chapter and its members.

The year ahead is full of engaging events and opportunities. Get involved, offer your ideas, and grow your personal and professional friendships. Our membership team, strategic events team, and education team are designing relevant, unique opportunities that I am proud to support with partners and volunteers that want to help support our chapter’s success, as well as their own professional success.

My father always taught me that if you’re going to do something do it right and give it your best effort. Often people join or volunteer in an organization merely to get business referrals and they expect them to drop in their laps. That is not how it works, especially now. By staying involved and connected, especially with MPI Georgia, your business will grow because of the “TRUSTED” relationships you build and the new skills you learn.

If you are part of a team, you give 100% and your chapter leaders are all giving 100+% to make the 2021-2022 year the best ever. Create a goal for your association involvement and help us to help you achieve your goals.
