Spotlight The Stars of Our Industry: MPI Ottawa Chapter Awards Overview
The MPI Ottawa Chapter proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its active members, recognizing their dedication, service, and meaningful contributions to the Chapter, the meetings and events industry, and the broader community.
Each year, awards are presented in the following categories:
- Planner of the Year
- Supplier of the Year
- Mentor of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Emerging Leader of the Year
- New Member of the Year
- Not be on the Awards Selection Committee
- No self nominations allowed
- Meet all other award-specific eligibility criteria (see nomination eligibility by award here)
We appreciate your time and effort in submitting your nomination(s) by Monday, June 15, 2026.
In addition to the above categories, there are two special awards bestowed at the discretion of the Chapter President:
- Honourary Chapter Member
- President’s Award
The Honourary Chapter Member recognizes longstanding retired members or community leaders who have made significant contributions to the MPI Ottawa Chapter and/or the meetings, tourism, or hospitality industries. While nominations from the membership are welcome, the final decision rests with the President.
The President’s Award is presented to an individual who has made a unique and outstanding contribution to the Chapter. This award is not necessarily presented annually, but rather when a deserving recipient is identified by the President.
The MPI Ottawa Prix Prestige 2026 Awards will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Lago, Dow's Lake Pavilion.
