Our high performing chapter relies upon the dedication and outstanding service of our volunteers to allow us to continuously address the changing needs of our members. 2025 Board of Directors take office on January 1, 2025.
Nominee Criteria:
● Must be a member in good standing
● Willingness and ability to fulfill the obligations of office in the capacity indicated
● Desire to contribute time, energy, support and creativity to the chapter
with consent of employer
● Leadership, business, and management experience outside of MPI
● Completed application form
Nominating Process and Timeline:
April 15-May 3:
Call for Volunteers-
Nominations for the MPI Pittsburgh Board of Directors.
May 3-31:
Nomination Committee reviews applications and interviews candidates.
June 1-June 12: Nomination Committee drafts proposed board slate ahead of June 20 MPI Pittsburgh Board Meeting.
June 20:
Proposed 2025 Board of Directors slate goes to vote at June 20 board meeting.
June 25-July 25: Proposed 2025 Board of Directors is posted online for general membership 30-day contest period.
August 1:
Approved 2025 Board of Directors slate due to MPI Global.
Timeline for 2025 Board of Directors:
August 1:
Approved 2025 Board of Directors slate due to MPI Global.
September:
2023-2024 Board of Directors meets with 2025 Board of Directors
to start transition process.
September 12:
MPI Global Chapter Leadership Summit (Virtual).
October TBD:
2025 MPI Pittsburgh Annual Retreat.
January 1:
2025 Board of Directors Term Begins.
