MPI-CAC is busy teeing up for its 24th Annual Golf Classic scheduled for Monday, May 20, at The Grove Country Club in Long Grove.
The day includes a full day of networking opportunities for planners and suppliers alike with breakfast, 18 holes of golf, an interactive afternoon reception and a silent auction filled with amazing experiences and gift cards.
Non-golfers are also encouraged to attend the event and new this year is a food pairing lunch with the course’s executive chef. Non-golfers will learn what beer and wine pairs best with their dishes. Non-golfers can also partake in the afternoon reception which provides various networking opportunities as well as the ever-popular silent auction which features hotel stays, restaurant gift cards and entertainment tickets throughout the country.
The day kicks off with registration check-in and continental breakfast from 7-8 a.m. followed by a welcome from MPI-CAC chapter president and sponsors. For golfers, lunch will be served on the course from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The afternoon networking reception is scheduled from 3-5 p.m.
For planners, they have an opportunity to participate in MPI-CAC’s Hosted Planner Program where they can apply for the chance to golf at no charge and be selected to join a supplier and their twosome or foursome for golf at the outing.
