Spotlight Award Winner - Jeff Durocher, U.S. Poker & Casino Parties (Partner Development Committee)

"I heard good things about MPI so I started to look into it back in 2014, ’15, ’16. I offered to join the board to help. After a few discussions with some board members, they recommended that I join a committee first to better understand the organization. That was good advice! A couple of months later, I decided to poke my head into the IX Exchange when it was on Navy Pier. It was a well-attended event with a number of great connections. I met 3-4 people that were very interesting and all of them have become great friends or partners even to this day."

"MPI is a well-known organization within the meetings and hospitality world, and I had always wanted to join after hearing colleagues talk about it and the great connections they made through it. I joined at a previous hotel, where I handled the corporate market, and attended my first MPI-WEC in Indy, and have been a member ever since!"
