MPI Chicago Area Chapter Events
MPI-CAC offers a wide variety of engaging education and networking events throughout the year.
Our education events such as Knowledge Shares, Signature Luncheon and Industry Xchange provide the opportunity to learn from your peers as well as from subject matter experts in the meetings and events industry and beyond. Networking opportunities are infused in every MPI-CAC event, though it takes center stage in our special events such as the Member Meetups, Golf Classic and our annual rotating special event. We never miss an opportunity to recognize the best in the industry and that is never more evident than at the Annual Awards Recognition Celebration.

Global Meetings Industry Day MPI 2026 Broadcast
MPI’s live broadcast will feature 8 hours of education, networking, advocacy and celebration with MPI chapters, industry advocates, thought leaders and industry peers from around the world. MPI’s 2026 Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) Broadcast is a chance to gather as an industry—to learn, to be inspired, and to reconnect with the meaning behind our work.
Because meeting matters. When we meet, we change the world.
Here are some highlights from the program:
- Participants can earn up to 8 clock hours.
- Registration is FREE.
- Education sessions: Quick sessions to provide actionable insight you can implement right away. Topics include AI in Events, Contracts and RFPs, and the importance of in-person events.
- Partner highlights: Get updates and state of the industry snapshots. Associations in attendance include: NCBMP, IACC, IAEE, ASAE on some of the latest news and information in the industry.
