Member Spotlight

I work as the Assistant Event Planner where I plan and manage various corporate conferences and events that range from 20 to 2,000 attendees. I have been a member since September 2014. I recently graduated with my Master’s in Hospitality Management, and am in the process of obtaining my CMP, so I hope to become much more involved in the coming months. I have not had the chance to make any memories within MPI as of yet, but look forward to the opportunities and connections this association has in store for me.

I was born and raised in Dallas, so there are so many things I love about it. I’d have to say my favorite thing is the southern hospitality and BBQ at the top of my list.

If I were to be featured in a movie about ME, Reese Witherspoon or Jennifer Aniston would play my role.

If I wasn't in my current line of work, I would probably still be working in the hospitality industry or some other service sector, though the ocean has always fascinated me.

My motivation comes from the fact that I get to be creative everyday while making people happy in the management of various events….it’s a dream come true!
