Kauffman Stadium

The global disability community represents over 1.3 billion people—15% to 20% of the population—along with their friends and family, wielding a collective spending power of $13 trillion. They spend $95 billion annually on travel, including conferences, vacations, concerts, hotels, and restaurants. If your events aren’t accessible and inclusive, you may be leaving substantial revenue on the table.

This session equips attendees with the tools to make events more accessible by incorporating universal design principles into the planning process. From initial communications to event day logistics, learn how to minimize accommodation requests and foster a culture of inclusion. Meaghan will share case studies, practical strategies, and proven solutions for ensuring access for all. Participants will also identify actionable next steps to advance their company’s accessibility efforts.

Whether you plan events or support venues, you’ll leave with fresh perspectives and actionable tips to create inclusive, successful experiences for every attendee.
