Join us as we prepare for the upcoming World Cup—and the increased risk of human trafficking that accompanies large‑scale global events— with a training designed to equip professionals with the awareness and tools to recognize and respond to human trafficking situations.
Led by Heidi Olson, MSN, RN, CPN, SANE‑P, Founder and President of Paradigm Shift Training and Consulting, this session will address the realities of labor and sex trafficking, dispel common myths, and highlight key risk factors and indicators that are often missed in professional settings.
Participants will gain practical, trauma‑informed strategies for safely responding to concerns, building trust, and connecting individuals to appropriate resources. The program includes a compelling panel featuring a trafficking survivor and a former sex buyer, offering real‑world insight into how exploitation occurs, missed opportunities for intervention, and what supports healing and exit.
This training will provide resources and actionable next steps—equipping professionals with tools that support efforts throughout the World Cup and beyond.
