For more than 25 years, Dana has had the privilege to lead teams of 2 to 1200 strong in business, civic organizations, philanthropic endeavors, and foundations. She loves helping people realize the goals and dreams they have set for themselves, their families and their business. After a multi-decade career in banking, finance, and wealth management, she pivoted.  | Evan Carroll is a keynote speaker, author, and event professional who helps organizations design experiences that are as meaningful as they are memorable. He is the President and CEO of Attended, a corporate event management and production firm that partners with brands like Pendo, Coursera, BASF, and Lufthansa to deliver high-touch events that blend strategy, storytelling, and hospitality. A fellow event professional and MPI member, Evan has led workshops for global brands including Amazon Music, Zillow, the NBA, Disney, Under Armour, MetLife, T-Mobile, and Sephora. He also serves as an adjunct professor at UNC–Chapel Hill, where he earned both MS and BS degrees in Information Science. |

John Kirby is twenty-five-year veteran of Encore and the events industry. Joking that he still has his first job since graduating college, John began his career with Swank Audio Visuals in 2001 in the Kansas City area where he still lives today. He has been with the company ever since and has served in a multitude of leadership roles as well as strategic sales. John currently works in Encore’s Global Sales Organization where he supports Encore’s enterprise-level relationships with several strategic customers. John also invests a good deal of time in industry relations as a volunteer and leader. John has served in numerous volunteer roles across the industry. John has been a member of MPI Kansas City since 2004, and has served on MPIKC’s Board of Directors, including serving as the President of the MPI Kansas City Chapter in 2021-22. During his tenure in OOTP, the KC chapter won two Global RISE Awards, two years designated as a Chapter of Excellence, and John was awarded the individual RISE Award in 2023 as MPI’s Member of the Year. Currently, John is a member of MPI’s Chapter and Members Advisory Council and serves as the Subcommittee Chair for Chapters/Policies. |
