About Our Chapter

Meeting Professionals International Middle PA (MPIMP) is a chapter for bringing event meeting planners and suppliers together. MPIMP understands that when people meet face-to-face, it empowers them to stand shoulder-to-shoulder. That’s why we lead Central Pennsylvania (and surrounding areas) in professional development that advances the meeting and event industry and the careers of the people in it. We connect the connectors so you can produce experiences that inspire, educate, and energize.

MPIMP was chartered in June 2008 and has continually evolved, and advanced membership! We continue to elevate by sharing the importance of what we do with others around us! The chapter initiatives are spearheaded by the Executive Board and Board of Directors.

A Message from the 2026 MPI Middle PA President

Dear MPI Middle Pennsylvania Members,

I am honored to serve as President of our outstanding chapter and to build upon our strong legacy as a Chapter of Excellence. I am fortunate to be supported by an exceptional Board of Directors, including Sarah Farrell (Past President) and Sarah Babski (President-Elect). I also want to sincerely thank all Board Members and our Chapter Administrator, Cindy Conaway, for their commitment and instrumental contributions to our success. Together, we will continue to elevate our chapter to new heights.

During my presidency, we have identified two primary goals, and I would greatly appreciate your support in achieving them:

1. Increased Committee Involvement

I have gained tremendous value from my MPI membership through direct involvement and encourage you to do the same. Whether your interests are in Education, Communications, Special Events, Sponsorship, or Membership, there is a place for you. Please reach out to me or any Board Member to learn more about joining a committee, I truly believe it will enhance your MPI experience. Additionally, all members are welcome to attend our Board of Directors meetings. Meeting dates are published on our website, and we would love to have you join us.

2. Growing Our Membership

Let’s reach 200 members! I encourage each of you to invite a non-member to an upcoming educational event. We are happy to host guests for their first visit at no cost, after all, who doesn’t enjoy a free lunch? Please also remember that, through our fundraising efforts, scholarships are available for meeting planners.
