Join us for the September education event at the Lodges at Gettysburg!

Today’s workplace is a complicated mix of demographics, career goals, and work style preferences.  The work ethic of the twentieth century has been overhauled by an emerging workforce who demands purpose, flexibility, and innovation.  In this new paradigm, the younger generation thrives with purpose-driven companies, inclusive workplace cultures, and non-traditional perks such as educational and volunteer opportunities.  Although younger employees have valued these characteristics for over a decade, the COVID 19 pandemic and the shift to working remotely amplified the need to communicate goals, values, and purpose more explicitly.

Dr. Judy Morley speaks on the topic of Inter-Generational Leadership.  Her presentation helps business leaders, entrepreneurs and managers attract and retain good employees by focusing on building relationships across generational boundaries and intentionally communicating to address the desires of a diverse and increasingly finicky work force.  Participants leave her presentations inspired and equipped with tools to provide employees with the leadership they crave to be effective contributors.
Although Dr. Morley customizes her presentation to fit each groups’ unique needs, sample topics include:

  • Defining and communicating organizational purpose
  • Creating outstanding employee experience
  • Attracting the right people
  • Developing an inclusive culture for all ages, genders, and ethnicities
  • Building relationships for retention
  • Creating workplace flexibility

We have arranged an hour Gettysburg Battlefield tour of the “Angle “ where Picket’s Charge occurred. Judy Morley is a licensed battlefield guide and will describe and show us what happened 163 years ago at one of the most famous charges in American history.
