Viveca, an Ohio native, holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton and a dual B.A in Communication and Labor Relations from Rutgers University, where she was also a Track & Field student athlete. Viveca began her career at Macy's and Kroger as a merchandising and operations manager that focused on brand development and driving customer engagement.

Currently, serving as the Corporate Sales Meeting Manager, West Region for Visit Denver, Viveca markets the city of Denver to conventions and leisure travelers for the economic benefit of the community. Viveca also serves on the Denver Public Art Selection committee for the DEN expansion project. Additionally, Viveca is on the University of Dayton Alumni Association leadership board representing the Denver Community. Viveca is passionate about the Arts, travel, equity, and getting out into the great outdoors!

With nearly two decades of leadership experience in world-class event strategy and execution, Jeanette now channels her expertise into ShePlans Co — her Colorado-based meeting and event consultancy where brilliance, intention, and creativity intersect. As Chief Brilliance Officer, she partners with associations, nonprofits, destination organizations, and corporate clients to deliver conferences and meetings that are not only flawlessly executed, but financially sound, strategically driven, and attendee-centric.

When she is not orchestrating standout events, Jeanette serves on the MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter Board of Directors, and as a contributor on advisory boards such as EastWest Hospitality Travel Trade Advisory Board and Destination Colorado. She is also a commissioned Notary Public in the State of Colorado.

Armed with an MBA, a CMP and HMCC certification, and specialized MPI coursework in Contracting & Negotiation, Healthcare Meetings Compliance, and Meeting & Event Strategy, Jeanette combines operational excellence with an innovative mindset.

A confident presenter and seasoned public speaker, Jeanette has been featured in Smart Meetings Magazine and Colorado Meetings + Events Magazine, recognized with the MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter as a Rising Star and Meeting Planner of the Year awards recipient, a Smart Meetings' Smart Women Stellar Performer honoree, and other accolades celebrating leadership and professionalism in the meetings industry.

Away from the whirlwind of events, Jeanette juggles the beautiful chaos of family life with her two energetic boys, three sweet dogs, and her unwaveringly supportive husband in Aurora, Colorado. When she is not planning her next conference or mentoring rising planners, you’ll find her rink-side at her kids’ hockey games, mapping out her next European adventure, or unapologetically indulging in Ben & Jerry’s— because brilliance pairs best with a passport and a pint.

As an international CEM Instructor, he loves sharing his knowledge and helping others grow. A firm believer in learning by doing and embracing the lessons failure has to offer, he’s passionate about bringing a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the table, and he’s always up for a challenge! When he’s not orchestrating extraordinary events, you might find him scuba diving, embarking on new adventures, getting lost in a non-fiction book, or finding zen through cross-stitching.

Iliana has worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, beginning her career at the front desk, as most of us do. She worked her way up to Sales and found her niche, making connections and lifetime relationships with clients. Bringing her boutique luxury experience to the high country, she is excited to create memorable experiences for both her clients and staff.

As an active community member locally and within the industry, she is the current VP of Education for MPI RMC.. She volunteers at least once a month within the industry and also with her daughter's school and local food banks and enjoys baking at altitude. 

Also as a Colorado Native, she loves things all Colorado from hiking with the pups, paddleboarding, exploring and hitting the slopes with the kiddos and husband.

Hayley holds a degree in Hospitality Business Management from Washington State University. After several years of experience in Operations in Denver’s hotel industry, Hayley discovered a passion for sales, which led to a career transition to a Sales Manager. Currently serving as a Sales Manager at the Holiday Inn Estes Park, where she focuses on corporate, religious, and government segments, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. Both in her personal and professional life Hayley has a passion for creating memorable events. Outside of work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her dog, Butterfinger, and exploring the beautiful scenery of Colorado.

I work with internal staff and external vendors and partners on meetings as small as 15 people and as large as 6500 people. I manage logistics and AV for the the annual meeting. I also have experience in F&B/catering, special events, transportation, contract negotiation, vendor management, site selection, education and speaker management, exhibits and sponsorship, volunteers and committee management.

I am the Director of Client Partnerships at Encompass Event Group, a leading live events production company that delivers experiential events nationwide for agencies, nonprofits, and corporations.

With over 10 years of experience selling and producing original content for both linear and streaming platforms, I have a passion for building connections, storytelling, and executing technical productions.

As an executive producer, I have developed and sold TV series to various networks, such as Netflix, Paramount+, Peacock, and Warner Bros. Discovery. Notable credits include 11 Minutes, Making Fun, The Home Edit, The Case of JonBenet Ramsey, and Well Done with Sebastian Maniscalco. I have strong skills in video production and production logistics, and I am always eager to learn new trends in the industry and connect with other creative professionals.

Eric Holmes is an accomplished hospitality sales and marketing leader known for his expertise in authentic networking and personal branding. As the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing at The Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop in Denver, Eric has built his career on the power of connection, cultivating meaningful relationships that drive both business success and community impact. His approach blends strategic sales insight with a genuine commitment to elevating people and partnerships across the industry.

A passionate volunteer and advocate, Eric serves as the Director of Fundraising for the MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter, where he focuses on building meaningful partnerships, generating resources for chapter growth, and creating opportunities that support education, engagement, and member success. He also served as Co-Chair of the Vendor Partnerships Committee for Serving Up Hope in 2024 and 2025, supporting initiatives that unite hospitality professionals in service and collaboration.

Eric is an engaging speaker and sought-after podcast guest, including a feature on VendrCast, where he shared his perspective on building an authentic personal brand through intentional networking. His storytelling and practical insights empower others to show up with confidence, lead with kindness, and create opportunities through connection.

Recognized as MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter’s Supplier of the Year in 2024, Eric continues to champion professional growth, authenticity, and community engagement within the meetings and hospitality industry.

Meaghan Ellis

Born in Indiana — home of the legendary Indy 500— I grew up a competitive dancer, which taught me discipline, creativity, and how to shine under pressure. That same energy carried into my career, where I discovered my passion for hospitality and making people feel at home while away from home.

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Recreation, Tourism, and Hospitality, plus double minors in Business and Dance. That blend of business know-how and creative expression shaped the communicator and connector I am today.

I am the Group Sales Manager at Gravity Haus, a community-focused hospitality brand with boutique hotels and experiences in iconic mountain destinations. Beyond work, I call Colorado Springs home, where I live with my husband, Alex and our Saint Bernard, Gambino. I’m also an avid half-marathon runner, and when I’m not training, you’ll usually find me enjoying new breweries, disc golfing, or spending time with family and friends.

Jennifer Hinton, CMP is an award winning corporate event planner with over 15 years of experience creating strategic, high impact events. She currently serves as the Head of Strategic Events at Canvas Credit Union, where she leads the planning and execution of engaging internal events for 35 branches and more than 750 employees across Colorado.

Prior to joining Canvas, Jennifer spent 15 years at Sports Authority, where she held the role of Manager of National Partnerships, gaining extensive experience in large scale programs, stakeholder engagement, and brand driven event strategy. Known for her collaborative approach and attention to detail, she is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that connect people and drive results.

Jennifer serves as the Director of Education on the MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter Board of Directors. Working in partnership with the Vice President of Education, she helps plan and deliver educational programs tailored to MPI members’ interests, needs, and feedback.

Resa Meagher brings a people-first approach to leadership, business development, and community building within the events industry. As Senior Director of Business Development at INSPIRE Event Solutions, she is responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships across the association, government, and corporate sectors, driving growth through innovative event production solutions and long-term relationship building.

In her role as Director of Leadership for MPI RMC, Resa is passionate about developing strong, values-driven leaders. She oversees leadership development initiatives, supports board engagement, and helps members get the most out of their MPI membership by connecting them to meaningful volunteer and committee opportunities that align with their skills, goals, and interests. Her focus is on cultivating a culture of integrity, connection, and sustainability that supports both individual growth and chapter success.

In addition to her corporate work, Resa is a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach specializing in women’s hormone health. Through a holistic, behavior-change-focused approach, she empowers women particularly those in high-demand industries to optimize their health, energy, and longevity.

Rocky Mountain Event Consultants is a full-service event planning company specializing in developing and managing associations, corporate events, award galas, festivals and more. We help clients create an event vision or theme, handle location procurement, catering, decorating, program speaker management, entertainment, audio visual, design, promotion, marketing, public and media relations and more!

As Executive Director for the Meeting Professionals International Rocky Mountain Chapter (MPIRMC), a client for whom Rocky Mountain Event Consultants provides full-service association management services, Freddie Templeton is responsible for working with the MPIRMC board of directors to facilitate strategic planning for the association. She also provides support services including communications, database management, membership operations, financial management and meeting/event planning and execution. Freddie joined the MPIRMC team in 2005.

Freddie brings a background in meeting planning, event management, business development and leadership training while Keith, Managing Partner brings promotion, design, and printing to their clients.

Sara is the founder and Event Principal of Convene OPS, a consultancy collective serving organizations across industries through strategic event management, AI and automation literacy, and workflow consulting. Having worked both the supplier and planner sides of the table — across hotel operations, independent AV, venue sales, corporate in-house planning, agency work, and brand ambassador roles; she has rarely held just one role at a time, and that breadth shows. Fifteen years across those environments has given her a rare combination of on-the-ground execution expertise and systems-level thinking.

Where most focus on the experience and content, Sara focuses on the engine behind it. A self-described tech nerd and AI & automation enthusiast, she believes in helping event professionals build operations that are intentional, efficient, and sustainable. She is an industry advocate for work-life balance in a profession that never slows down.

Sara holds a BS in Hospitality with an Event Management concentration from MSU Denver, along with CGMP and HMCC certifications and an AI-Certified Event Professional credential. She serves as a strategic consultant to the MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter and is an agency partner with leading efficiency and automation software platforms. Her work has earned her three industry awards: MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter's Meeting Planner of the Year, the Smart Women in Meetings Innovator Award, and a spot among Smart Meetings Magazine's 2024 Event Professional Heroes.

Outside of work, Sara can be found adventuring with her husband Ryan and their dogs Reese and Spud, dabbling in archery, creating something in the kitchen, picking up phrases in new languages, and feeding a lifelong fascination with natural disasters and weather phenomena.
