Celebrating our Fellow Industry Peers

Each year MPI Toronto Members come together to honour and recognize the chapter’s best! The Awards Gala showcases the contributions and great work that our fellow peers have accomplished over the past year, based on their dedication to improving the industry, commitment, service and involvement in the chapter, in addition to the industry and community at large. It’s an incredible event to demonstrate our support to fellow members and allow us to further build relationships with suppliers and planners in the industry.

Looking back, 1990 was when the first awards were given out. This program has grown over the past 30 years to increase its prestige and recognition. 2020 is the start of a new decade and with that brings new opportunities and challenges for the events industry. This year 2020 will be highlighted as part of the theme; looking back over the last ten years and looking forward to the future for each award recipient. Each award nominee will share their goals for the upcoming decade, and how they look to shape the future of our industry.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a colleague for an award this year. We received a record-breaking number of submissions this year, doubling last year’s numbers with a growth of 123%. We look forward to recognizing these deserving chapter members at the gala this year! Without the dedication and contribution from volunteers, the Toronto Chapter wouldn’t be the success it is today.
