The Meeting Industry Advocate award will be presented to a member whose actions consistently promote the meetings industry in Wisconsin. The individual also encourages the growth and image of our industry through education, promotion, or lobbying should be nominated for this award.
Criteria for this award: Current MPI-WI member
The Team of the Year (TOTY) award is designed to recognize an entire team's accomplishments. The TOTY will be nominated from each team lead. The team lead should outline what each member of the team has contributed to the team's success.
Criteria for this award: TOTY can be a chapter special project, fundraising, or monthly meeting team. A successful TOTY is team that shares in the majority of the work and works together. The team has aligned and accomplished the goals that meet the chapter's goals. The team also must have completed work between September and June of each year to be considered.
The TOTY may be nominated by a team lead or the membership at large.
The Rising Star Award is presented to a newer member of MPI-Wisconsin who has become an active part of our organization. This award is designed to recognize an individual whose time and efforts put him/her on a path to being one of our next leaders.
Criteria for this award: MPI-WI member between 6 months and 2 years. The member also has demonstrated an immediate interest in MPI-WI by volunteering for a team, working on a specialty project, etc.
The Supplier of the Year award is the top award for suppliers. This award is a tribute to the recipient's service, accomplishments, recognition and contributions to our industry.
Criteria for this award:
The Planner of the Year award is the pinnacle award for planners. This honor recognizes the recipient's service, accomplishments, recognition and contributions to our industry.

Rising Star
Criteria:
MPI-WI member for a minimum of 6 months at the time of nomination, who has been a member in good standing for a maximum of two years at the time of nomination. The member also has
demonstrated an immediate interest in MPI-WI by volunteering individually, on a team, working on a specialty project, or leading a committee.
Outstanding Leader
Criteria:
Someone who has been in the chapter that is involved on teams and has been a team lead. This person is very active in the chapter and cannot be a current board member (at the
time of voting). There can be multiple winners in a year. Nominee(s) must be a current member of MPI-Wisconsin.
Industry Advocate:
Criteria:
Current MPI-WI member whose actions consistently promote the meetings industry in Wisconsin. The individual also encourages the growth and image of our industry through education,
promotion, or lobbying should be nominated for this award.
Hall of Fame
Criteria:
This is a prestigious award given to a member who has had significant impact on our chapter, our industry,
and our community. The Board of Directors selects the recipient for this award and is not necessarily given out each year.

• Contributed to the advancement of the meeting industry
• Past board member
or served on past/current committees
Past winners of the HOF Award are not eligible. Must be a member MPI for a minimum of 10 years. HOF recipient is not eligible for other individual award, but may be awarded for a group effort; for example Team of the year.
Team of the Year - This award voted on by the chapter.
Criteria:
TOTY can be a chapter special project, fundraising, or monthly meeting team. A successful TOTY is a
team that shares in the work together. The team has aligned and accomplished the goals set by the chapter. The team also must have completed the work between August and June of each year to be considered. The team of the year must be made
up of volunteers and can not be a board team. Past Hall of Fame winners would be eligible to win as part of a TOTY.
The TOTY may be nominated by a team lead or the membership at large.
President’s Award
Criteria:
The President can choose any member in good standing they believe is deserving.
