Refresh and Reboot: Meeting Constituents Where They Are to Create Lifelong Engagement

We live in a world that competes for the attention of our constituents at every turn. Through rapidly advancing technology, our customers, clients, and employees can take advantage of personally curated experiences at the touch of a button and relive them through increasingly pervasive social media channels. As meeting and event planners, how do we cut through the clutter to design programs that meet the needs of our constituents, create meaning, make an impact, and develop life-long engagement? In this session, Mary Tribble will share a strategic approach to refresh and reboot your programs in a way that meets your constituents where they are. By utilizing data to identify your audiences needs and being willing to experiment with new approaches, Tribble will challenge you to think about your constituent’s experiences in a new and different way. Through lecture, peer sharing, and small group breakouts, attendees will gain new insight and put acquired information into immediate practice. After learning about best practices through case studies, small groups will brainstorm responses to specific challenges, develop real-time solutions, and present them back to the larger group. This lively and interactive session will be packed with applicable learning to take back and employ in any organization.

Take-aways:
• Learn how to use data collection and analysis to better understand the needs of your constituents
• Bring an informed approach to refreshing and rebooting initiatives
• Customize events and programs that make a meaningful impact on the lives of your constituents
• Have a process to evaluate an event’s effectiveness
• Leave with a toolbox of creative ideas that will energize you in the new year
