Please join us in welcoming Don E. Simon, one MPI Georgia’s newest members since November 2024.

With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his role at the GICC, Don E. Simon focuses on the group market and attracting events such as pageants, cheer and dance competitions, ethnic and minority-based gatherings, fashion shows, consumer expos, graduations and more to the thriving convention center.

Don basically handles everything in the SMERFE market except the religious segment.  He loves interacting with others on a daily basis and feels one of the funniest aspects of doing this job is that he uncovered that he actually likes being in sales! 

Don joined MPI to interact with other meeting planners and suppliers in the hospitality industry and looks forward to integrating into this community.  Welcome Don!
