Please help MPI Georgia welcome new member, Raisa Ferdinand, Event Marketing Manager for Secureworks. In her role, she has the opportunity to travel the world, leading the planning and execution of large-scale cybersecurity events that bring together industry leaders, clients, and partners. Raisa’s focus is on creating impactful, memorable experiences that enhance her brand’s visibility and strengthen relationships with those they work with. From managing logistics and vendor partnerships to ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly, she works to make sure each event achieves its goals and leaves a lasting impression. Raisa also collaborates closely with our sales and marketing teams to capture leads and nurture those connections long after the event ends. It's all about driving value, building relationships, and ensuring smooth, rewarding experiences for everyone involved.

Raisa joined the Georgia MPI chapter in July 2024 with the goal of connecting with fellow event professionals, expanding her knowledge of industry trends, and staying up to date on emerging technologies and new event destinations. “Being part of this community has been an amazing way to engage with like-minded individuals and learn about the future of our industry. I’m excited to be a part of the MPI community and look forward to learning, growing, and contributing alongside all of you!”

The most exciting project Raisa is working on is their President’s Club Event, which will be held in a surprise international destination! This exclusive celebration honors top sellers and company contributors for their incredible fiscal year success, allowing them to celebrate with their loved ones. She is thrilled to handle all the logistics for this event and create a truly memorable experience. “I can’t wait to see it all come together for an unforgettable celebration!”

Raisa shares the advice she will never forget, "Always leave people better than you found them." “In our industry, we have the privilege of connecting with people from all walks of life, and this human connection is something AI can never replicate. Let’s always strive to leave others better than we found them, creating positive experiences and fostering a shared commitment to the betterment of us all.”

Raisa’s mother is her inspiration. “She worked tirelessly as a sales director for years and continues to push herself forward even after retirement. Her dedication to growth and family is something I deeply admire. That said, I do hope she finds more time to relax and enjoy the fruits of her hard work—she deserves it!”
