Shannon Denham Catering and Events Director Chattahoochee Country Club Member since June of 2024

Please join us in welcoming Shannon Denham to MPI Georgia.  Shannon joined the MPI Georgia Chapter in June 2024.  Shannon’s background was originally in Food & Beverage Management but a few key people in her career recognized her eye for detail and excitement for crafting a great event. Using her previous experience as an Administrator and Event Planner at Georgia University, she transitioned in her current role as Catering and Events Director of the Chattahoochee Country Club.

In a few words tell us what you do? 

I create lasting memories for our Country Club members in their home-away-from-home.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Funniest memory as a meeting / events planner? 

The fact that we get to create some very fun events is so neat! A fond memory was hosting “A Very Harry Halloween” – our Club-wide Harry Potter themed party. The costumes, the smiles, and a candy explosion really made my night!
