• Please join me in congratulating Katia Young CMP, DES. She was recently approved for her CMP - Certified Meeting Professional recertification. Let's encourage others to take advantage of MPI's CMP Academy Course and Study Groups! We're stronger together!
• Let's also congratulate Monica Jackson. She was recently recognized by SmartMeetings as a 2025 Meeting Professional of the Year!! She continues to thrive as a servant leader within our industry. Smart Meetings supports the hospitality community with "innovative ideas, elevated experiences and authentic connections." They also publish meetings content on various platforms and offer a myriad of digital resources to help event professionals reach their goals - including CEU accredited webinars.
• And last but certainly not least - Here is an early Congratulations to Blaire McIsaac! As many of you may know, our Association Manager, Blaire McIsaac, is expecting her first child and will be going on maternity leave in mid-September. While she’s away, Heather Blanchard, our MPI Georgia Account Executive, will serve as Interim Chapter Administrator, with continued support from our Association Coordinator, Riley Fields, who joined us earlier this year.
