Reflecting on an Incredible Year at MPI Georgia

This year has been filled with unforgettable moments at MPI Georgia! From impactful luncheons to fun networking experiences at exciting new venues, we’ve truly made 2025 a year to remember. Our signature events were a huge success, and for the first time, we celebrated our annual Classic in the summer—a nice change from its traditional fall schedule.

The Phoenix Awards were another highlight, rocking a vibrant rock-and-roll theme and shining bright with star-studded energy! Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. A special shout-out to the Community Involvement + Inclusion Committee, on which I’m proud to serve, for being nominated for Committee of the Year. While we didn’t take home the award, it was an honor to be recognized among such outstanding peers.

And how about Cayce Hamilton, who won not one, but two Phoenix Awards that night? Cayce also received the Rising Star Award during our annual holiday luncheon—what an incredible achievement!

Speaking of the holiday luncheon, what a spectacular event it was. As MPI Georgia’s largest gathering of the year, we partner with PCMA Southeast and IAEE Southeast to toast to our accomplishments. Hosted at the Georgia Aquarium, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary (congratulations to them!), the luncheon was a wonderful way to close out the year. 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of this beloved tradition, and I can’t wait to see it come together!

It has been an absolute pleasure contributing to ReConnect this year—a first-time endeavor that offered an amazing opportunity to connect and share. Now, I’m honored to pass the torch to the wonderful Grier Donald, who will take over as contributor to The Grapevine (aka Q’s News). I look forward to reading her articles and seeing what the new year brings for all of us.
