Q's News: The August Networking Event

I recently attended another fabulous MPI networker. We met at Culinary Dropout Atlanta to rendezvous over delicious bites and cocktails. As soon I approached the check in counter, I was greeted with a warm hello from MPI GA staff member, Mica Wade. We quickly caught up, took a selfie and I made my way inside. The atmosphere was a vibe. The laid back indoor dining room opened up to a large rooftop area - great for groups as large as 250.

I barely made it 15 feet into the room before I ran into Jacqueline Beaulieu, The VP of MPI Membership. She is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. We got lost in the conversation and my belly had to remind me to eat. So, after I excused myself to grab a plate, I started making friends in the buffet line! It's so easy to do, when everyone there is on the same page - we are all there to connect. 

I enjoyed the company of old friends and new ones alike. Especially when we exchange ideas and share a toast to each other's accomplishments.
