Sponsor Spotlight: Poretta & Orr

Are We Designing Exhibits for Attendees or for Ourselves?

Sponsored by Poretta & Orr, Inc., | Exhibits & Events

We spend months planning exhibits. We debate graphics, messaging, technology, furniture, activations, giveaways, and countless other details. But how often do we stop and ask: What does the attendee actually want? While we’re focused on what we want to say, show, and accomplish, attendees are making much simpler decisions. Is this relevant to me? Do I understand what they do? Is there a reason to stop? Will I learn something, meet someone, or experience something worthwhile? That doesn’t mean brand objectives, design, or business goals take a back seat. They matter. But the best exhibit strategy connects those objectives with what matters to the attendee. Before approving the next graphic, activation, or technology investment, try looking at it from the other side of the aisle.

Would you stop? And if you did, would the experience be worth your time?

Register for an MPI GA webinar on September 16th at 12:00pm ET on Are We Designing Exhibits for Attendees or for Ourselves?
