Get to know Alex and Christina, Great Wolf Lodge Pack Members, outside of the office…

Great Wolf Lodge is a proud sponsor of the Fall Classic next month at Barnsley Resort. We look forward to meeting you, and discussing opportunities to work with your organization for your future programs.

What’s your MPI Georgia connection?
Alex:  I was introduced to MPI Georgia through my colleague, Christina, when I began working for Great Wolf Lodge Georgia.
Christina:  I learned about MPI Georgia years ago when I started in hospitality sales. It wasn’t until my good friend, Karen Schroeder, approached me last year about joining a committee that my true connection with the chapter began. Serving on the Welcome & Hospitality committee has been a great experience.

How did you get started in the hospitality industry?
Alex:  I started as a private event coordinator at a county club where I was responsible for booking and executing meetings and events.
Christina:  When I was in high school, I served as a class officer and had the opportunity to plan the senior prom. From that experience, I knew I wanted to be a wedding or event planner. I went on to pursue my education in the hospitality industry. Then I worked my way up from an administrative assistant to a wedding coordinator, and eventually landed in group sales.

Binder or Tablet?
Alex:  Binder. I like to have physical copies and the ability to take notes.
Christina:  100% binder. I am old school and LOVE a great writing pen and quality paper.

What’s your dream vacation?
Alex:  If I could take my family on a dream vacation, I would rent a RV and experience all of the natural wonders our nation has to offer.
Christina:  Ditto to Alex’s response, but I would also love to visit Italy to enjoy yummy cheese, good wine, and tons of pasta.
