The CMP Information Session lasts approximately 90 minutes and is essential for all candidates who wish to join the upcoming Study Group. This will be followed by the Start-Up Session on Tuesday, May 24th provided at least four committed and qualified candidates attend the Information Session. At the CMP Study Group Start-Up Session all candidates who are joining the Summer Study Group will determine the specifics for the weekly meetings.
Attendance at both sessions is highly recommended, but note that attendance at one or the other is mandatory for anyone who wishes to join the study group. Candidates who do not attend at least one session (either the Information Session or the Study Group Start-Up Session) will not be able to join this Study Group.
Note – if we do not have at least four committed and qualified candidates attend the Info Session, we will not form a Study Group.
Before attending the Information Session, please review the application guidelines to be sure you meet the requirements to proceed. Full information regarding applications and requirements can be found at the Events Industry Council (EIC) website (utilize link above).
Due to the virtual format for the Information Session we will be unable to facilitate one-on-one discussions or review individual applications. You must RSVP in advance by sending an email to Gregg Lauer at gscott1962@gmail.com. The CMP Information Session will not be recorded and will not be available on demand. If you have specific questions about your application, please contact one of the committee chairs directly
