Game on, Georgia: Scoring Big with the FIFA World Cup

Join William Pate, President & CEO, ACVB, Dan Corso, President, Atlanta Sports Council, and Nirjary Desai, CEO, KIS (cubed) Events for an informative panel on all things FIFA World Cup!  As Georgia prepares to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, one of the largest global audiences on the planet, this is your chance to find out how the meetings and events industry can unlock economic opportunities and score big. From volunteering to viewing parties to spotlighting hidden gems across the state, learn how sporting events propel Georgia into the global spotlight.  During this program, you'll learn: 

1. A behind-the-scenes look at how bids for mega-events are won
2. Critical dates and information to participate in scheduled events
3. Rules and regulations on marketing affiliated and unaffiliated events
4. Business opportunities to get involved as a destination, hotel, venue or vendor. 
5. The importance of global competence for welcoming international sporting events

ALL Preferred and Premiere MPI members are eligible to receive member registration rates for MPI Georgia events.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your registration a full refund will be granted if cancellation is received in writing before 5:00 PM on Friday, July 18. After that time there will be no refunds. Please send a cancellation notice to info@mpigeorgia.org. Additionally, registration fees may not be applied or transferred to future events.

Substitution Policy:

If you have registered but cannot attend the meeting, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send written notification of this change before 5:00 PM on Friday, July 18 to info@mpigeorgia.org. After that time, substitutions will need to be made onsite.
