Game Changers: Women Shaping Sports Events

 

GAME CHANGERS: Woman Shaping Sports Events is a panel focused on the evolving role of women in leadership across the sports and meeting and events industries.

Designed as a dynamic conversational panel session the program will bring together three accomplished women with experience in the sports industry to share their perspectives and insights on leadership. The discussion will explore how women are influencing the business of sports, particularly through planning, operations and partnerships that bring the sports community together.  Topics will center on women in leadership navigating career growth building relationships, overcoming challenges and the unique opportunities available to women working within the sports segment of the meetings and events industry.

 

Moderator & Panelists:

Our moderator is Abby Freeman, a local and seasoned independent meeting planner with Mitchell Meetings, who most recently worked the FIFA 2026 World Cup Finals in East Rutherford, NJ.

ALL Preferred and Premiere MPI members are eligible to receive member registration rates for MPI Georgia events.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your registration a full refund will be granted if cancellation is received in writing before 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8th. After that time there will be no refunds. Please send a cancellation notice to info@mpigeorgia.org. Additionally, registration fees may not be applied or transferred to future events.

Substitution Policy:

If you have registered but cannot attend the meeting, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send written notification of this change before 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Sept. 8th to info@mpigeorgia.org. After that time, substitutions will need to be made onsite.
