Meredith Martini: Meredith Martini is the owner and creative force behind PlayWorks Group. With over 20 years planning, designing and facilitating, her passion for unique learning environments within meetings, conferences and retreats only continues to grow. She began her career as a researcher and consultant at Deloitte and Touche and later began developing her skills at creating and executing programs and events at a wide variety of different organizations and facilities. She received her master’s degree from the College of Education at Georgia State University, focusing on group and play dynamics. In 2002, Meredith launched PlayWorks Group, a niche planning firm, focusing on organizations’ interactive meeting design and team event needs. One of PlayWorks Group’s specialties is team building programs that give back to the community in some way. In 2012, Meredith also started meetingWorks in order to segment the meeting design portion of the business. Meredith’s dedication to creating engaging and entertaining experience and interactions for her clients has given her the opportunity to work with a broad range of companies and organizations including Wells Fargo, Home Depot, Merck Pharmaceutical, Chick-fil-A, Johnson & Johnson and Kimberly Clark. Meredith is a graduate of the Disney Institute of Leadership Excellence and has been a panelist, speaker, facilitator and writer for a variety of organizations including Technology Association of Georgia, Meeting Professionals International, Plan Your Meetings, Senior Planners Industry Network, Cvent and others. Ms. Martini is a long standing member of Meeting Professionals International Georgia Chapter, serving five terms on the Board of Directors, including a year as President. She’s received both the Lifetime Achievement and President’s Awards from the organization. She is also a member of PCMA and SPIN. |

Heather Herrig, CMP: Heather Herrig, CMP, is the President & Chief Event Strategist of Every Last Detail, a full-service corporate events and meetings firm dedicated to high-touch, seamless, and strategic events. For Heather, it’s all about bringing people together, and helping organizations achieve more as a result. In addition to event planning and management, Heather's diverse career includes work in marketing, corporate communications, and organizational strategy - allowing her to offer clients a comprehensive array of services. Heather is deeply committed to the meetings and events industry and seizes every opportunity to give back. She has previously served on the Board of MPI Georgia for multiple terms, contributes to the SPIN Small Business Community, and is on the teaching team for Emory University’s Continuing Education Certificate in Event Planning, where she has discovered a deep passion for teaching and supporting the next generation of event professionals. Most recently, she has joined the Board of Advisors for the Alliance of Independent Meeting Professionals. In addition, she has co-created The Business Bootcamp for Independent Planners, which builds on her dedication to this industry’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. Tess Vismale, CMP, DES: Tess thrives on-site executing events and tech merged with events. She is passionate about smart technology for hospitality professionals. She’s always on the road educating professionals on the latest and greatest technologies, as well as practical tech solutions that can make their lives easier and more efficient. Tess is Tech Whisperer with DAHLIA+ AGENCY; Chief Event Executioner for iSocialExecution, Inc. and Speaker. She is the former Senior Event Lead, Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Conference Center Manager, Atlanta Technical College; where she served on the President’s Leadership Team. Tess is a CMP (Certified Meeting Professional), stage manager for TEDxPeachtree (9yrs); “Meetings Trendsetter” & awarded the GaMPI Shining Star Award. She was featured in the Connect Meeting Intelligence Magazine’s article, entitled “How I Work: Tess Vismale on Executing Events. A native Chicagoan by way of Atlanta, she holds a BA from Spelman College enjoys social media, creative visionary thinking, tennis & watching mixed martial arts (MMA). |

MPI Georgia Chapter Attendance Policy:
All Essential Level members or non-members are limited to no more than two events in one fiscal year and must pay the Essential Level/Non-member rate. MPI Preferred or Premier Level members are welcome to attend all chapter events at the Member Price.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel your registration a full refund will be granted if cancellation is received in writing before 5:00 PM on the Thursday before the event. After that time there will be no refunds. Please send cancellation notice to info@mpigeorgia.org.
Additionally, registration fees may not be applied or transferred to future events.
Substitutions: If you have registered but are unable to attend the meeting, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge.
