EDUCATION: Can Event Sustainability Still be a Priority Post-Pandemic?

Creating sustainable meetings was a priority and growing initiative for planners, venues and suppliers for several years. Then, the pandemic hit and health and safety slide into that role. In the post-COVID era, how can we and the industry move back to a zero waste mindset and bring event sustainability to the forefront of our event strategies. During this program, we will break into small peer groups and discuss what we are seeing in our companies, with our clients, and share these ideas collectively. After the discussion, we will take a tour of the 21c Museum Hotel current exhibit "Labor and Materials" guided by the Museum Manager, Jori Cheville.
