On behalf of the MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter Board, thank you to The Inverness Denver and all the 180 2026 sponsors, foursomes and non-golfers for making this tournament such a resounding success! Feedback coming in states this as the best MPI golf tournament ever!

Attendees kicked off the day with coffee and breakfast burritos sponsored by Visit Denver as attendees networked and watched Fun Flick Colorado’s huge screen scrolling all our amazing sponsors of the day.  Each attendee received two drink tickets sponsored by Visit Aurora as they checked in on foursomes throughout the day along with Wellness Cart Sponsors, Visit Colorado Springs, Visit Boulder and Boost Oxygen.

We wrapped up the day with an amazing lunch sponsored by The Inverness Denver as we awarded all the prizes at the Awards Ceremony sponsored by Visit Colorado Springs.

The first-place team with a winning score of 20 under was the Kinsley Meeting Team led by MPI International Board and MPIRMC member and past-president Steve Kinsley.  The Kinsley Team won four overnights to split: The Jacquard in Cherry Creek, The Elizabeth Hotel in Fort Collins and the Magnolia and Sonesta Hotels in Downtown Denver.

Coming in second place with a score of 16 under was the Maritz/Savoca Team winning $100 each at the Inverness Pro Shop. There was a four-way tie for the third-place foursome as the Inverness pro Dave Steinmetz explained how it was determined that Visit Aurora, lead by Bruce Dalton, was the winning Team of $75 to the pro shop each.  Pickleball paddles, balls and towels were given to the “Best Sports” Team coming in with the highest but reputable score of the day to the Chamonix Casino Resort Team.    Pickleball hard core players also received a pickleball paddles and all non-golfers received a bag of goodies.

The Women's Longest Drive on Hole 12 sponsored by Beaver Run was taken by Lauren Dolniak, Inspire Denver guest, hitting the longest drive of the day winning a two-night stay in a one-bedroom suite with a $50.00 resort credit at Beaver Run.  Winning a one-night stay with dinner for two for the Women's Closest to the Pin Hole 3 sponsored by Alpenrock Resort in Breckenridge was Bonnie Yordy from Freeman.  The Women's Longest Putt on Hole 18 sponsored by Visit Denver was won by Jesse Margedant with the Hotel Clio Team winning a $100 gift card to Denver Golf.

The Men's Longest Drive on Hole 7 sponsored by Kinsley Meetings winning a $100 Gift certificate to Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood and a bottle of rose was won by the Inverness GM Aaron Bajorek.   The Men's Closest to the Pin prize on Hole 11 and sponsored by Vail Resorts won a two-night stay at Keystone Lodge and Spa with a round of golf for two at the Ranch Golf Course. The winner was Brandon Duffin from the Visit Aurora Team who got married in Keystone!  

Haroon Chaudhry leading the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Team won the Men's Longest Putt on Hole 9 sponsored by Visit Fort Collins and The Elizabeth Hotel winning a one-night stay at The Elizabeth Hotel with a $50 F&B credit.

Thank you to all the foursome players that contributed to the hole-in-two contest with Golf Pro Jared “The Arms”.  You all helped raise $4,800 for the MPI Global Foundation and the Colorado Charity Golf Foundation.  Steve Kinsley was the high donor with $800 winning another free sponsored hole for 2027.

Hole 5 was a Hole-In-One Sponsored by Hermes giving away their custom-made Hermes Golf Cart if anyone got a hole-in-one.  No one won this year but….
