Toronto,
Organizer
MPI Toronto Chapter

(THIS SESSION IS FOR MPI MEMBERS ONLY)

As 2025 draws to a close, MPI Toronto Chapter’s DEI Committee invites you to join our final Virtual Lunch & Learn of the year — a dynamic conversation exploring how diversity, equity, and inclusion can move from intention to implementation in the world of live events.

Using TheEvent 2025 in Fredericton, New Brunswick as a case study, this session will spotlight tangible DEI best practices applied across every layer of event design — from venue operations and destination strategy to planning decisions and attendee experience.

Our panel of industry leaders — representing a venuedestination marketing organization, and event planner — will share what worked, what challenged assumptions, and how inclusive collaboration can elevate both guest experience and community impact.

Whether you’re looking to build your own DEI roadmap or refine your event policies, this interactive session offers real-world insights you can immediately apply to your organization.

Key Takeaways:
  • Discover actionable DEI strategies that enhance accessibility, representation, and belonging at events.
  • Learn how venues, DMOs, and planners can collaborate to embed inclusion from concept to execution.
  • Gain practical tools and inspiration to make every event more equitable, authentic, and impactful.
