A collaborative professional development experience built for event pros who want to sharpen their skills, connect across generations, and walk away with real, applicable knowledge. This Lab focuses on core competencies, relevant trends, and shared learning.

 

1:00pm - Registration and Networking

Kick off the event with some casual networking. Connect with fellow event professionals and start building valuable relationships.

 

1:30pm – Opening Remarks

Welcome participants, set the tone for the day, and highlight an important industry topic with a presentation by Julia Drydyk from the Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking.  

 

2:00pm – Honest Conversations: Planners & Suppliers in Dialogue

Fireside chat with industry leaders moderated by Lyndsay Munholland, Event Strategist and Team Lead, Managing Matters.

3:00pm – Peer Learning Lab: Growing Your Influence in the Events Industry 

Join special guest Carly Silberstein, CEO of Cielle & Co. for an engaging discussion about reinventing your brand. This Peer Learning Lab will provide event professionals, new and seasoned, a collaborative space focused on personal branding, influence, and sharing industry insights.

 

4:15pm-4:30pm – Final Thoughts and Takeaways
Wrap up the day with a quick exchange of final thoughts and key takeaways. Reflect on the most impactful moments and insights as we bring the event to a close.
