Tell us about your business and your current job.
I am the Convention & Meetings Sales Manager at Visit Greater St. Cloud. 

What do you hope to gain from your MPI Membership?
I’ve actually held a membership for 6 years, and in 2020, my membership lapsed due to COVID-19. Prior to this, I attended some monthly meetings and was a gold sponsor of a couple chapter meetings. Over the course of the last couple of years, the MPI chapter meetings were on the same day as the Society of Government Meeting Professionals Minnesota Chapter meetings. Because of my current involvement with SGMP, I wasn’t able to attend as many MPI events as I wanted to. Looking into 2021, I’m eager to start attending some in-person MPI events and just being able to reconnect with my counterparts and clients. I’m eager to learn and help out wherever needed.

If there was only one thing a potential customer could remember about your company, what would that be?
There are no fees attached to working with a CVB. Let us help make your job easier.

What one piece of advice would you give to a new supplier joining the MPI network?
Don’t feel intimidated – everyone in MPI is very welcoming and your voice/opinion matters.

What has been the best piece of advice you have been given, and how has it made a difference in your life - personally or professionally?
The best piece of advice I was ever given is related to my professional life – Be your authentic self and look at the value you can receive from feedback and criticism. 

What are some of your favorite pastime activities?
My family loves board games! My kids are currently into Belching Bobby (yes, this is actually a thing) and Shark Chase.
