HAPPY HOUR AT HIGHER GROUND

Thursday, April 30, 2026
3:30 PM-6:30 PM

This isn't our usual "after-5".  This time we're heading to the mountains!

Join us as we kick off the MPIRMC Board Retreat with a happy hour welcome reception at the brand-new Kindred Resort — and be among the first to experience it. This is your chance to raise a glass with the 2026 Board of Directors, connect with fellow chapter members, and witness the official unveiling of one of Colorado's most anticipated new properties.

Whether you're a longtime member or just finding your footing with the chapter, this is your invitation to show up, slow down, and connect with the people who make this industry worth being in — in a setting a little more breathtaking than your average networking hour. Mountain members, this one's especially for you.

Your ticket includes a hosted bar and hors d'oeuvres as you mingle, tour the space, and learn what's ahead for the chapter in 2026.

This evening is graciously hosted by Kindred Resort, and we're grateful for their generosity in opening their brand-new doors to our chapter. Space is limited — don't miss it.

Where the Mountain Becomes the Living Room

For more than two decades, the base of Keystone's River Run Village was a promise waiting to be kept. Kindred Resort is that promise — finally, beautifully delivered. The first major development in Keystone's River Run Village in 20 years , Kindred didn't just add a building to the mountain. It redefined what mountain hospitality looks like at this elevation.

Built around a philosophy called Campfire Luxury — an approach that prioritizes connection over formality — Kindred is the kind of place where ski valet and fine dining coexist with fire pits and locally-rooted storytelling. More than 200 works by Mountain West artists span the property, turning every hallway and gathering space into something worth pausing for. The design itself honors the valley — from a lobby rug inspired by an aerial map of the Argentine Mine District to restaurants named for the pioneers who shaped this mountain community.

Located right in the heart of River Run Village, just steps from the ski slopes and the gondola, Kindred offers meeting and event professionals a setting that is equal parts inspiring and functional — an unparalleled backdrop for gatherings where luxurious accommodations, gourmet dining, and a serene spa don't just support the event, they become part of it Kindred Resort.
