Topic: Tackling the Industry in a Hybrid World
“Virtual” Communication is here to stay, and “Hybrid” is a normal business practice. Therefore, how we communicate and deliver messages must also evolve.
On April 11th we will collectively celebrate our industry and learn some new technics around virtual communication. The key point of interest is communication in the new virtual world we now operate in - how we sell, present, negotiate, network, connect with clients as well as team members, and how we hold meetings and conferences effectively in a virtual environment.
Shaun Boothe is an out of the box communicator and spoken word artist, who will kick off the event using his unique music stylings to convey a history lesson of some of the most famous people who had different communication styles and used them to persevere through adversity. You won’t want to miss his delivery and the energy.
Following the keynote are three 20 minute, “Specialized Education Sessions”. Led by knowledgeable industry experts who will energize and give attendees technics to take virtual and hybrid to the next level. You’ll leave with tools to put into practice immediately that improve your virtual presence as well as meetings and conferences. Be sure to watch out for videos from these speakers on MPI Toronto Chapter’s social feeds.
We’ll finish off the day with a focus on the next generation. ConnectUP is for the student community, and we’ve got three strong speakers to talk to MICE post institutionalized learning.
