By Avery Carter | Jan 9, 2020

Are you ready to change the way people travel and explore? Join other attendees on a learning journey in social impact at the European Meetings and Events Conference (EMEC20), 9-11 February in Sevilla, Spain! On this journey, you will push your boundaries in gaining an understanding of crucial business skills like “design thinking” and “lean start-up methodologies,” all while designing an unforgettable Social Impact Experience for future travelers to Seville.

The Authenticity Design Challenge, lead by Elena Rodriguez Blanco, is a fast-paced entrepreneurship experience where you learn by doing while creating positive social change in Las tres mil viviendas, an extremely under-resourced neighborhood in Sevilla. Your design project will assist the Alalá Foundation, which supports social integration in through the education of children and young people

The design challenge will provide you with a memorable social impact experience that helps to create a brighter future for these underprivileged children through Flamenco, a time-honored Spanish art form of guitar playing, song and dance. In particular, the Alalá Foundation encourages the continued development of Flamenco singers and dancers in Las tres mil viviendas to help improve their lives. You can be a part of this immersive experience while learning critical business skills that help to change the way people travel and explore!
