Raise Awareness. End Human Trafficking.

MPI Global and the MPI Anti-Human Trafficking Committee is committed to raising awareness within the MPI Chapters and their communities by creating an education-in-a-box that can be implemented with each chapter worldwide. These educational components focus on identifying victims and if a victim is identified, what should be done.

Chapter Education Toolkit

A group of MPI members has created a resource page designed to educate and raise awareness within the meeting and event industry about human trafficking.
COVID-19 has shifted the focus of traffickers to the youths who attend school virtually and connect with each other online, where techniques using social media are in place to recruit potential victims.
We spoke with Nevar Campbell, chapter president of MPI Tampa Bay Area, on everything from the social issues in her region that intersect with the events industry to this year's biggest trends.
From safety and security to F&B trends to diversity and inclusion at events, MPI members from across the globe discuss some of the industry’s most pressing issues.
