John Rissi

As senior vice president of operations for PSAV’s western region of the U.S., John Rissi oversees all event technology operations for over 250 hotels and convention centers and 8 regional branch operations. He serves on PSAV’s 16-member executive team, contributing to key corporate decisions and guiding the company to achieve company goals. With over 33 years’ industry experience, Rissi has served PSAV in numerous positions within sales, management and executive management. As an active industry participant, Rissi belongs to the Convention Industry Council’s APEX (Accepted Practices Exchange) Standards Committee and is the chair of the APEX work group. Previously, he served on the Meeting Professionals International Foundation U.S. Council Board. As a Pacific Northwest resident, Rissi graduated Grand Canyon University with a B.S. in Business.
