June 2023 Dashboard Data Deadline

A quick reminder that your June dashboard data should be entered through the CLRP no later than July 20 and, as a best practice, your Dashboard Report should be reviewed at every Board meeting to identify any missing/incorrect information as well as keep track of your Chapter’s progress.

IMPORTANT: Please review your Dashboard Report and let your COM know as soon as possible if there is any missing information. To submit missing information or corrections, use the template available in the CLRP > Chapter Administrator > Document > Dashboard Missing Information Template

Annual Chapter performance reviews will be taking place in August and your Dashboard Report data will be used to complete the FY2022-2023 Performance & Metrics Summary Report.

Chapter Demographic Report

The Chapter Demographic Report has been updated and is now available via the CLRP in the same area as the Dashboard Report (Chapter Metrics). The report is updated twice annually in January and July and provides valuable information about your members that can be used when developing sponsorship prospectus.

Chapter All Hands Call Recording Now Available

The Chapter All Hands Call recording is now available on the Chapter Leader Resource Page (CLRP) here: CLRP > Chapter Leader Training > All Hands Call > June 2023 All Hands Call Recording. If you missed the call, be sure to check it out!

Chapter Bylaws and Chapter Policy Manual Update: Now Expected August 1

The newly revised Chapter Bylaws and Chapter Policy Manual are delayed. We anticipate they will be distributed by August 1. Please advise your Governance and Nominating Committee of the delay so they can plan their volunteer experience accordingly.

Bridge the Gap Campaign

MPI is offering a campaign for members who cancelled since January 2020 to bridge tenure with MPI membership.  Is your chapter needing a promotion to engage members who have lapsed?  This campaign will allow members to join without the new member administrative costs and bridge the tenure from January 2020.  Chapter Leaders have been provided details and assets to use in this promotion by their Chapter Operations Manager.

Anti-Human Trafficking Committee hosts WEC session

MPI Global’s Anti-Human Trafficking Committee was honored to host a breakout session at WEC (World Education Congress) in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.  Committee chair Malinda Harrell led this informative and interactive discussion, welcoming guest presenter Cardell T. Morant, Director of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Center for Countering Human Trafficking (CCHT).  The topic was “What to Know and Avoid to Make Great Impact” and focused on the myths and realities of the horrific, global crime of human trafficking, how it intersects with the event industry, and how we can raise our voices together to help eradicate this crime.  The session was at capacity and attendees were engaged, educated and inspired.  The entire AHT Committee is incredibly grateful to Director Morant and his team for their dedication in this field and for their commitment in supporting us at WEC.  For more info, please contact Malinda Harrell:
