YOUR HELP NEEDED: Google Xi Belonging Project!

Google Xi and its research partner Storycraft Lab are creating a resource dedicated to fostering inclusivity and building strong connections within event experiences. They are seeking help from MPI to recruit global participants in their research project.

Please register your interest HERE in participating in a 60-minute session during which you will reflect upon selected definitions of Belonging, consider how you experience Belonging and ideate experience design solutions that foster Belonging.

We are hoping to recruit up to four MPI members from each chapter/region that represent a diversity of perspectives—geographic, cultural and industry/occupation. Storycraft Lab will follow up to coordinate date and time options. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to industry thought leadership that makes the world, and the events we create, better—and we’re thankful in advance for your participation!

We Need YOU! Volunteer at IMEX

MPI needs your help to volunteer for IMEX! Each year in conjunction with IMEX America, we host a day of education known as SMART Monday. This year, SMART Monday is October 16th at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Hotel. This day is dedicated to Education and Networking before the tradeshow officially begins on Tuesday, October 17th.

For this year's event to be a success, we need YOU to help volunteer! If you are available on Monday, October 16th we invite you to sign up as a volunteer with MPI. We are seeking assistance in full or half-day shifts starting at 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. If you would like to volunteer for the whole day, you are also able to do so! Some of the roles you can volunteer for will be supporting education session attendee scanning, speaker liaison, directional assistance and a few other roles!  We will also be offering opportunities to help volunteer for the MPI booth October 17th - 19th!

Please email  Academy Operations Manager, Amanda Baghaei at abaghaei@mpi.org. Once your email is received, we will make note of your availability and provide updates as the event nears. In the meantime, please check out the event website here!

Founded in 2002, Polaris is named for the North Star, which people held in slavery in the United States used as a guide to navigate their way to freedom. Today we are filling in the roadmap for that journey and lighting the path ahead. Polaris's interactive, online training program includes six short modules, as well as survivor stories, and quizzes designed to deepen your understanding of the issue.
