Dave Johnson, honored this year for MPI's 50th anniversary as one of the association's "Legacy Contributors," mentions some of his experience with MPI as well as what it has meant to him.
I have been a huge supporter and participant of MPI for nearly my entire career. My past position as president of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, I had the privilege of sitting on the Boards and Executive Committees of both the MPI International Board of Directors and the MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees, including one year as chair of the Foundation. It opened numerous avenues to conduct lifelong business relationships and amazing friendships. I still consider my MPI friends as some of my closest even though it has been many years since we served together. MPI is a first-class organization.
